Arbitrage Group is a boutique property adviser based in Covent Garden. Since 2006 we have acted for people and organisations acquiring, developing, occupying and moving into property in prime central London. What links the four things we do is a single principle: we work for the buyer, the investor or the occupier, and never for the party selling to them.
Much of what we do happens away from the open market. The best properties in central London, residential and commercial, are usually sold or let quietly, and access to them is a matter of relationships built over many years with agents, developers, owners and other advisers. We spend our time maintaining those relationships so that our clients hear first.
We are deliberately small. The person who takes your brief is the person who runs the search, negotiates the deal and coordinates the solicitors, brokers and tax advisers around it. Clients tell us that this, more than anything, is why they come back and why they refer us.
The firm is led by Aldo Attanasio d’Aponte, who advises personally on every acquisition and retail mandate and writes regularly about the London market in Insights.
Aldo Attanasio d’Aponte founded Arbitrage Group in 2006 after a career in investment banking. He acts only for buyers and occupiers, and has secured some of the most discreet retail and residential transactions in Mayfair, Belgravia and Kensington over the past twenty years. He is Neapolitan, works in English and Italian, and has a particular practice bringing Italian and European houses into London.
